Mammootty's Oru Kuttanadan Blog To Release

After Abrahaminte Santhathikal, Mammootty's next major release in Malayalam is expected to be Oru Kuttanadan Blog, the film which marks the directorial debut of popular scenarist Sethu. The shoot of the film had commenced in the month of March and it was revealed that Mammootty will be seen essaying a character named Hari, in this much awaited entertainer.
Now, certain reports have been doing the rounds regarding the release date of the movie. Initially, reports had surfaced that the film might be gracing the big screens during the upcoming Onam season. According to a latest report by Times Of India, Oru Kuttanadan Blog might hit the theatres on August 15, 2018.
Well, it seems like Oru Kuttanadan Blog will be a perfect festival release as the movie is expected to be a fine feel-good entertainer. The film features three leading ladies in the form of Anu Sithara, Raai Laxmi and Shamna Kasim. The movie also features actors like Sanju Sivaram, Nedumudi Venu, Jacob Gregory etc., in important roles. 
The film has its script penned by the director himself. Meanwhile, Mammootty's next big release will be Abrahaminte Santhathikal, the trailer of which will be releasing tomorrow. Earlier, the makers had announced that the film will be hitting the theatres on June 16, 2018.

No sign of advance booking despite HC asking government to provide security: The Karnataka High Court on Today June 5, Ordered the state government to provide security for the Cinema theatres which will screen Kaala and asked to take adequate measures to ensure Caution incidents take place in the state.  The Prodecure of Movie had approached the Karnataka High Court, seeking an order restraining the Karnataka government and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce from preventing the film's release in the state on June 7.  Pro-Kannada groups are against the release of Kaala in Karnataka for Rajinikanth's stand on Cauvery.Nonetheless, the theatres are yet to take a call on the screening and there is no sign of advance booking.
