His opinion about the protest and anti-social elements were criticised by a section of people. On that note, Superstar has now taken to Twitter to express his disappointment over the row. He tweeted, "விமானநிலையத்தில் நேற்று அளித்த பேட்டியின் போது நான் மிரட்டல் தொனியில்,ஒருமையில் பேசியதாக சென்னை பத்திரிக்கையாளர் சங்கம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. யாரையும் புண்படுத்தும் எண்ணம் எனக்கு இருந்ததில்லை, அப்படி எந்த பத்திரிக்கை அன்பர்களின் மனதாவது புண்பட்டுருந்தால் அதற்காக நான் வருந்துகிறேன்."

MAY 2018: Rajinikanth's visit to Tuticorin yesterday to meet affected people in hospital. Rajinikanth had strongly stated "Anti-social elements" were only responsible for the protest turning violent in Tuticorin. He also stated that people cannot resort to protests for every issue in Tamil Nadu otherwise the state will turn into a graveyard in Future.Its was make more controversy amoung people leaders. Director of Kaala, PA Ranjith made a his statement about this issue earlier today at a press meet.  "Rajinikanth Sir didn’t say that protests are not needed at all. I spoke with him. He said that the pain is huge when something undesirable happens during protests. Although certain rights can be obtained only through protests said Paa Ranjith.

MAY 2018 Queen Telugu Remake Shoots Resume: Actress Tamannaah had earlier cast to play the role of Kangana Ranaut in national award winning film 'Queen's in the Telugu Lanuage. But the project was stopped temporarily in December 2017. Now, reports reveal that the shoot of the film has resumed in Mysore last week.  First the film was directed by Neelakanta, but he quit the project and was replaced by Prasanth Varma of Awe fame. This movie is bankrolled by Manu Kumaran and he is producing the film in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.In Tamil Kajal Reprise the role.

MAY 2018: Late legendary actress Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is all set to make her  debut with the Bollywood romance drama Dhadak. The film is produced by ace director and producer Karan Johar. In a recent interview, She Told that her mother did not want her to become an actress at all. But she was personally handling the work relating to Jhanvi's film.  " She was more relaxed about Khushi getting into films. She thought I was naïve, that I wasn’t thick-skinned enough. The film will be directed by Jeetu Joseph and will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal of Azure Entertainment and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The actress, who earned prominence with Tamil period drama "Paradesi", was chosen for the role in "The Body" after a nationwide hunt and several auditions. A big surprise of his fans, he tweeted, "Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming."
